FCC (Central Check File)
The central check file (FCC) contains the list of people who are no longer allowed to write checks or use a bank card. This list is compiled by the banks following a default of payment or a bad check.
How to get out of the Bank of United States FCC listing?
To exit the file, you must first of all regularize the payment by representing your unpaid check after having returned the money to your account or settle the amount by another means and recover the check.
Once you have honored your payment, you can mail your bank to arrange for the Bank of United States to remove you from the FCC file along with your proof of receipt.
